Final Post5/13/2022 For my first project I helped ezra set up the Boys V.S. girls volleyball game. The Boys and Girls Volleyball game was set up and started by Ezra Schwier and was designed to help fundraise for the two volleyball teams as the boys team is new to the school and needs funding. We had to talk the The Athletic Director and find a good date that worked for both teams. Then we started advertising for the game where we would set up donation buckets and sell merchandise. The girls took the victory and the game was a big success. My next project is is setting up a senior event. Right now our group is working on slipandslid kickball during homeroom for the seniors. Our second and big idea is a senior campout on the football field. We would set up whiffle ball, spike ball, and cornhole tournaments.

Senior Assassin3/22/2022 It is a tradition at New Palestine High School for the senior class to compete in Senior Assassin. Senior assassin is a competition in which seniors get assigned a target and they have to shoot the target with a nerf gun all while trying to stay hidden from their own hunter. For my task I was on a group who had to come up with the rules and sign ups for the competition. Here are the rules... We are also working on an elite 8 style tournament where we would sell tickets for people to come watch and all sales would go to a fundraiser.

Blog #72/25/2022 The Fundraiser game for Andrew Eyerman went very well. To start the game Braeden facetimed Andrew and he was introduced with the team. He got a standing ovation and we were told he really loved it. He also go to see all of the students in the student section cheering for him. All of the students in the student section were wearing the t shirts that were made for him. We fundraised to create baskets that were raffled off which raised lots of money. We ended up with over $4000. The baskets were raffled off at the beginning of the fourth quarter. The chuck A' Duck at halftime went really well (I was told because I was in the locker room). There were even a couple of people that won $10. People got the option to buy ducks for a dollar each, and try to toss them into buckets that were placed in the middle of the court. We sold a lot of Eyerman's army shirts during the game as well, which all proceeds went to the family thanks to Jim Sleeth for giving us the shirts at his cost. It overall was a great fundraiser and everyone made it a lot of fun. Now that we are done with this project we took a small break before jumping right back into making NPSN videos to post on twitter.

Back at it1/31/2022 With the start of the second semester my group wanted to change how we affected school pride. We felt that the videos were taking up to much time, so we decided to focus more on planning events for the basketball games. Our first idea was a Staff versus students game. After we found a date that worked we had to work on who was going to play. We had to ask a lot of teachers to get a full team. We also wanted to do something for the whole staff as we feel they have had a rough year. We decided to make the Game teacher appreciation night. The students and staff will play at halftime for the halftime entertainment. After we had set up the teacher game we moved our attention to the bigger project. We were informed that a kindergartner at Sugar Creek had leukemia and we were going to put a game together to benefit the family. We decided on doing raffle baskets because a group a few years ahead of us did something similar(see above). I called and received baskets from 1871 Apparel and Axehead threads.
